On Thursday 9 January at the Rasputin Cocktail Bar in Florence, the official presentation of the Ballindalloch Distillery and its whiskies was held. Present at the event were Guy Macpherson-Grant, the owner and Antonio Beneforti, our Spirits Manager.
Ballindalloch Distillery was opened in 2014 on the Ballindalloch Estate. Owned by the Macpherson-Grant family for 23 generations, the estate is situated in the heart of Speyside, a stone's throw from the River Spey. It produces traditional Single Malts, using only barley grown on the estate and spring water, which is also on the estate.
Ballindalloch whiskies represent for the reasons mentioned above, and for their style, the very essence of Speyside tradition. Three tastings were offered: a 2015 Release, a Bourbon Single Cask and a Sherry Oloroso Single Cask. They are distributed in Italy by Proposta Vini as of this year and will only be offered to high-end venues in Italy.
